	17th December 2003 - Wood Group-Led Joint Venture Wins $160 million contract with Brunei Shell Petroleum A newly formed joint venture, SKSWood Sdn Bhd ("SKSWood"), comprising a subsidiary of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), Syarikat Kejuruteraan Sistematik (SKS) and Petrokon Utama Sdn Bhd ("Petrokon") has been awarded a 5-year integrated services contract, with a 5-year extension option, by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Snd Bhd (BSP) for the maintenance & upgrading of offshore facilities and the execution of offshore projects in Brunei Darussalam.

	25th November 2003 - Wood Group Logging Services Promotes Jon Piantes to Chief Financial Officer Wood Group Logging Services has promoted Jon Piantes to the position of chief financial officer. Mr. Piantes was previously corporate controller for Wood Group Logging Services, the position he had held since joining Wood Group in 2000.

	14th November 2003 - The Home Secretary David Blunkett MP officially opens new Wood Group facility in Sheffield, England The Home Secretary David Blunkett MP visited Sheffield-based Wood Group Rotary Electrical Company Ltd on Friday 14th November 2003 to officially open the company's new 35,000 sq ft electrical generator service facility.

	12th November 2003 - Wood Group ESP Appoints John Hedges Sales Manager for Canadian Region Wood Group ESP has promoted John Hedges to the position of sales manager of the Canadian Region for the company's electric submersible pumping systems and services.

	11th November 2003 - Wood Group Power appoints Nick Blaskoski as Executive Vice President Wood Group Power, Inc., part of the Gas Turbine Services business of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") has appointed Nick Blaskoski to the position of Executive Vice President, effective from 9th October 2003.

	11th November 2003 - Talisman Energy (UK) Limited awards major turbine maintenance contract to Wood Group Wood Group Light Industrial Turbines Ltd (WGLIT), part of the Gas Turbine Services business of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has been awarded a long-term contract from Talisman Energy (UK) Limited to provide maintenance services for 45 gas turbines operated on seven Talisman North Sea assets.

	27th October 2003 - Wood Group Forms Pipe Recovery Rapid Response Team Wood Group Logging Services, part of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has established the Rapid Response Team dedicated to accelerated recovery of stuck drill pipe from wells throughout the Gulf of Mexico, Texas and Louisiana.

	24th October 2003 - Mustang Engineering provides FEED study for Curacao refinery Mustang Engineers and Constructors, part of Mustang Engineering, LP, announced that it has signed an agreement with UOP LLC to provide a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study for a project at the Refineria Isla refinery in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles

	9th October 2003 - Wood Group Engineering hosts open day for SMEs at Pittodrie More than 140 SMEs from throughout the UK attended Pittodrie Stadium yesterday to meet Wood Group Engineering managers and chief engineers to discuss the technological challenges facing the industry in the North Sea and internationally.

	18th September 2003 - Alliance Engineering Expands Business Development Team Alliance Engineering, a subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") has appointed Charles Wilds and Paul Cannatella to the positions of vice president, Business Development.

	11th September 2003 - Whittaker Controls, Inc. appoints Wood Group as licensed aftermarket distributor and maintenance, repair and overhaul provider Wood Group JTC Ltd, part of the John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") Power Accessories and Components business, has signed a repair license and distributor agreement with California-based Whittaker Controls, Inc.

	2nd September 2003 - Rolls Wood Group opens new service facility for Rolls-Royce RB211 gas turbines in Aberdeen Rolls Wood Group (Repair & Overhauls) Ltd ("RWG") has created a new 40,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility in Aberdeen, Scotland dedicated to the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Rolls-Royce RB211 industrial aero-derivative gas turbines.

	28th August 2003 - Wood Group Light Industrial Turbines Ltd wins Long Term Service Agreement with British Nuclear Fuels PLC Wood Group Light Industrial Turbines Ltd (WGLIT Ltd) has won a six-year Long Term Service Agreement with international nuclear energy business, British Nuclear Fuels PLC (BNFL), to provide maintenance services for their Alstom Tornado gas turbines operated at Westinghouse UK Fuel Business at Springfields, Preston in the UK.

	28th August 2003 - Wood Group Turbine Control Services signs teaming agreement with Honeywell Industry Solutions Wood Group Turbine Control Services, Inc. (TCS) and Honeywell Industry Solutions have entered into a teaming agreement to provide the global power generation industry with integrated control systems that incorporate steam turbine controls capability.

	26th August 2003 - Wood Group Power, Inc. wins long-term power plant maintenance contract with GWF Energy Wood Group Power, Inc. has won a long-term total maintenance services contract with GWF Energy LLC to provide scheduled maintenance services on two General Electric Frame 7EA heavy industrial gas turbines operated at the customer's Tracy, California power station.

	21st August 2003 - Wood Group Expands Engineering & Production Facilities, Americas Management Team Miguel Bocco, Jr. and William J. (Bill) Boyle have joined the Americas business unit management team of Wood Group Engineering and Production Facilities (E&PF), a division of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group").

	19th August 2003 - Appointment of new Production Services Director John Woods has been appointed Production Services Director of Wood Group Engineering (North Sea). This newly created role reflects Wood Group's commitment to expanding its production services capability in the North Sea and abroad.

	11th August 2003 - Wood Group and Neal & Massy Form Joint Venture in Trinidad and Tobago Wood Group Trinidad & Tobago Ltd., part of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), and Neal & Massy Energy Ltd., of Trinidad, part of the Neal & Massy Group ("Neal & Massy"), have formed NM Wood Group Ltd., a joint venture to provide services to the oil and gas industry in Trinidad and Tobago. NM Wood Group Ltd. is owned 60% by Wood Group and 40% by Neal & Massy.

	31st July 2003 - Wood Group Production Technology awarded £2million contract by Statoil on new Norwegian field Wood Group Production Technology (WGPT) has been awarded a NoK 20million (£2million) contract over three years to supply Statoil with downhole gauge monitoring equipment for the Snøhvit project in the Barents Sea off northern Norway.

	24th July 2003 - Wood Group Rotary Electrical Company enhances support for eastern hemisphere electrical generator operators Wood Group Rotary Electrical Company Ltd is expanding its generator service, repair and rewind, and coil manufacture operations, and is re-locating to a new 35,000 sq ft facility in Sheffield, United Kingdom to enhance its services for electrical generator operators in the Eastern Hemisphere.

	8th July 2003 - Appointment of new Global Downstream Business Leader John Blythe has joined the Engineering & Production Facilities Division of John Wood Group Plc ("Wood Group") as its Global Downstream Business Leader. This newly created role reflects Wood Group's commitment to developing its downstream business in the US under the Mustang banner and worldwide.

	3rd July 2003 - Wood Group Introduces Industry's First 25,000 PSI-Rated Permanent Electronic Downhole Gauge Wood Group Production Technology, a subsidiary of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") and a leading supplier of permanent well monitoring systems and services to the oil and gas industry, has introduced the 25,000 psi-rated version of its rugged ROC family of permanent downhole gauges. Twelve of the gauges have been selected by Shell Exploration and Production Company for installation in its wells in the Princess and Llano fields in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.

	17th June 2003 - Alliance Engineering Wins Contract from BP to Conduct Front End Engineering & Design of Sales Gas Plant in Colombia Alliance Engineering, a subsidiary of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has been awarded a contract by BP Exploration Company (Colombia) Ltd. for the front end engineering and design (FEED) of the Cusiana sales gas plant long-term option stage one.

	12th June 2003 - Alliance Engineering Establishes Onshore Production Business Unit Headed by Ken Langston Alliance Engineering, part of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has established a new business unit focused on the engineering, design and construction management of onshore production projects, primarily those systems and components necessary to produce, treat and dispose of gas, oil and water. The Onshore Production Business Unit is led by Vice President Ken Langston.

	3rd June 2003 - Alliance Engineering and Geostock Announce Cooperative Agreement Alliance Engineering, part of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), and Geostock US, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Geostock Holding, have signed a memorandum of understanding under which the companies will cooperate to provide subsurface and surface facilities engineering, design, procurement, and construction services for the hydrocarbon storage industry.

	29th May 2003 - Wood Group companies selected by Murphy Oil for Deepwater studies in Malaysia Mustang Engineering and J P Kenny, part of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), recently completed a contract with Murphy Sabah Oil Co. LTD performing feasibility engineering, evaluating multiple dry and wet tree development scenarios, for Murphy's recently announced deepwater discovery off the coast of Sabah, Malaysia.

	27th May 2003 - Wood Group acquires Dutch company Korndorffer Contracting International (KCI) John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") has acquired the Dutch engineering company, Korndorffer Contracting International (KCI). The net asset value of KCI at April 2003 was Euro 0.7million. KCI will operate within Wood Group's Engineering & Production Facilities business.

	22nd May 2003 - Wood Group Launches New Consulting Services Group International energy services company, John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") is launching a new Consulting Technical Services Group within its Engineering & Production Facilities division, under the leadership of Steve Wayman.

	15th May 2003 - Wood Group Component Repair wins £37m MOD contract Dundee-based Wood Group Component Repair Ltd (WGCR) has re-won a major contract to repair the engine components of Tornado fighter aircraft for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).

	5th May 2003 - Wood Group Wins Contract from Marathon to Provide Operations and Maintenance Support in Equatorial Guinea International energy services company Wood Group has signed a two-year, multi-million dollar contract with Marathon EG Production Limited to provide operations and maintenance support for the company's offshore and on-shore facilities in Equatorial Guinea.

	13th May 2003 - Wood Group Appoints Joseph Brady Chairman, President and C.E.O. of Wood Group ESP Wood Group has appointed Joseph (Joe) F. Brady to the positions of chairman, president and chief executive officer of Wood Group ESP, effective May 12, 2003.

	25th April 2003 - Wood Group acquires Barber Industries John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") has acquired the assets of Barber Industries ("Barber"), a subsidiary of Precision Castparts Corporation (NYSE: PCP), for a cash consideration of US$10.7 million.

	24th April 2003 - Wood Group Pressure Control wins $10 million contract from Saudi Aramco Aberdeen-based Wood Group Pressure Control has been awarded contracts totalling $10 million to supply Saudi Aramco with Khuff gas xmas trees for Khuff gas production in Saudi Arabia. Wood Group Pressure Control is currently manufacturing Saudi Aramco's first order of trees placed late last year at its recently expanded Peterhead manufacturing facility in Scotland.

	17th April 2003 - Wood Group ESP Appoints Joseph Mitcho Vice President, Organization Development Wood Group ESP (WGESP) has appointed Joseph C. Mitcho to the new position of vice president, Organizational Development, effective March 31.

	10th April 2003 - Wood Group Introduces New Downhole Sensor and Interface System Wood Group ESP has introduced the new family of SmartGuard® monitoring systems that provide reliable, accurate, real-time monitoring of the downhole submersible equipment and reservoir conditions. The systems were designed to help operators lower operating costs and obtain longer run times, which can result in increased production.

	14th April 2003 - Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) wins 5-year contract with TotalFinaElf Aberdeen-based Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd has been awarded a 5-year, £multi-million contract by TotalFinaElf Exploration UK PLC for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and ancillary services for all its Northern North Sea and Central Graben facilities.

	14th April 2003 - Wood Group Power increases range of products & services through acquisition of technology rights Wood Group is pleased to announce that its US-based Turbine Control Services business has acquired exclusive rights to the industrial gas turbine control technology of VT Controls Inc., formerly HSDE.

	8th April 2003 - Mustang Engineering opens Ohio pipeline services office Mustang Engineering has opened a Pipeline Services Group office in Columbus, Ohio, that will provide engineering and field services for clients in Ohio and in the upper Midwest.

	8th April 2003 - Palmer joins Mustang Engineering Mustang Engineering announced that Kim Palmer has joined the company as a professional services specialist.

	18th March 2003 - Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd awarded new £1.5million contract with Talisman Aberdeen-based Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd (WGENS) has been awarded a £1.5 million upgrade contract by Talisman Energy (UK) Limited for the Tartan V4LP production separator .

	10th March 2003 - Wood Group, the international energy services company today announces record results for the year ended 31 December 2002 In the full year to December 2002, revenues increased 14% to $1,738.1 million, EBITA increased 25% to $135.9 million and adjusted earnings per share increased 25% to 16.5 cents.

	5th March 2003 - Wood Group awarded $35million contract extension by ConocoPhillips Wood Group Pressure Control has been contracted to provide and service wellheads and gate valves to ConocoPhillips' land and shallow-water wells in forty eight US States under a recent three-year agreement between the two companies.

	3rd March 2003 - Wood Group wins contract from BP to construct, operate and maintain Intermediate Processing Facility in Colombia International energy services company Wood Group has signed a five-year contract with BP Exploration Company (Colombia) Ltd., to expand, operate and maintain an intermediate processing facility on the Floreña field in the Casanare region in Colombia.

	24th February 2003 - Wood Group And Miller, Mcconville, Christen, Hutchison, & Waffel LLC announce alliance aiming to operate a portfolio of power assets in North America Wood Group Power and Miller, McConville, Christen, Hutchison, & Waffel LLC (MMC) today announced that they have formed an alliance with the aim of operating a portfolio of power assets in North America.

	10th February 2003 - nisus awarded FEED study for the possible re-development of the Don & West of Don Field Aberdeen-based consortium nisus has been contracted by The Royal Bank of Scotland and First Oil, investors in the Don Field project, together with Field owners BP and ConocoPhillips, to complete a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study for the possible redevelopment of the Don & West Don Field.

	24th January 2003 - Mustang Automation and Control (MAC) announces expansion with formation of MAC EAST Mustang Automation and Control (MAC), a business segment of Mustang Engineering, is pleased to announce the formation of MAC East, located in La Porte, Texas.

	21st January 2003 - Wood Group Pressure Control Moves Houston Headquarters Wood Group Pressure Control (WGPC) has relocated its Houston operations from Park 10 to a 25,000 square foot suite on Briarpark Drive. The company, which provides surface wellheads and valves to greater than 20% of all U.S. drilling rigs, had occupied the Park 10 facility since 1997. During that time the company experienced substantial growth in both its domestic and international sales.

	14th January 2003 - Wood Group announces the appointment of David Baillie as Chief Executive for its Gas Turbine Services division John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") announced today that David Baillie has been appointed Chief Executive of Wood Group Gas Turbine Services.

	9th January 2003 - Santos Barbosa Appoints Luiz Fernando Mendonça de Faria Operations Director Santos Barbosa, a Brazilian company majority owned by Wood Group, has appointed Luiz Fernando Mendonça de Faria to the position of operations director, with responsibility for Santos Barbosa's offshore modifications and maintenance services business.
