Founded in Aberdeen in the 70s, Wood Group has evolved during the last three decades into the number one provider of enhanced recovery and brownfield work in the UK Continental Shelf, and recently extended into the Norwegian sector.

The North Sea remains a key focus and we work closely with major operators to meet the needs of its mature phase. With more than 4,500 employed in the region, we're now the UK's leading oil & gas terminal service contractor, we've added a number of major contracts to our portfolio, including:

• CATS and Wytch Farm, two of BP's onshore facilities
• Talisman's Flotta oil terminal in Orkney
• Service contracts for both TOTAL E&P UK PLC and Shell EP in St Fergus in northeast Scotland
• Operations support contracts with both Shell and ExxonMobil at the Mossmorran onshore plants in eastern Scotland

Wood Group is expanding throughout Europe, with a broad range of business in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal. To accommodate our new growth, we've expanded our offices in Glasgow and Aberdeen, and have opened a new apprentice training school in Avon.
