Wood Group engineered and designed a two BcfD (billion cubic feet per day) meter and regulator station in Fairfax County, Virginia USA. The meter station includes three water-bath gas heaters, filter separation, ultrasonic measurement, regulation and a regulation building. Located in a noise-sensitive area, the meter and regulation station is designed to be a quiet, high-flow measurement facility. Wood Group collaborated with noise consultants to achieve an effective solution to diminish facility noise.
