2nd February 2006 - Wood Group Production Services to Support Operational Readiness Activities & Provide Long-Term Labor for Neptune Platform
Wood Group Production Services ("WGPS"), a subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has been awarded a $4 million contract by BHP Billiton Petroleum (Americas), Inc. to develop a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as well as prepare operating manuals and start-up procedures for the Neptune deepwater Gulf of Mexico project.

On 13th December 2005, Dr Leonardo Atencio, Dean of the University of Zulia in Maracaibo, officially opened a new gas turbine performance test facility that is the result of a partnership between the University and Wood Group Gas Turbines (Venezuela) Ltd (WGGTV).

Mustang Engineering, L.P. ("Mustang"), a subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), announced today that Valero Energy Corporation ("Valero") has deployed the E!CEMS environmental data management system to provide real-time environmental calculations and related reporting at its Corpus Christi facility. E!CEMS projects are now underway at four additional Valero refineries.

John Wood Group PLC ('Wood Group') is pleased to announce that Mark Papworth has joined its Board as Group Director responsible for Gas Turbine Services. Mark joined Wood Group a year ago from Rolls-Royce Energy and in December was appointed Chief Executive of the Gas Turbines Division.

J P Kenny ("JPK"), the subsea and pipelines specialists subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has appointed Dr. Paul Jukes as principal engineer in its Houston, Texas office. His position will involve overseeing and leading pipeline design projects, with a focus on enhancing the technical and engineering value JPK provides to specific subsea projects.
