Wood Group's onshore facilities engineering teams have successfully completed projects worldwide.
Fit-for-purpose solutions have been provided for facilities in locations such as Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Russia, United Arab Emirates, the United States and Venezuela.
We provided front-end engineering design verification, detail engineering, procurement and construction management services to a subsidiary of UK-based Cairn Energy PLC for the new Mangala production facility in the Rajasthan Desert in Western India. The facility, which is expected to deliver 150,000+ barrels of oil per day, will include water treatment and injection, gas production, power generation, fluid gathering and treatment, and crude oil export.
Offshore Equatorial Guinea, first flow for the Marathon Alba Phase 2B facility arrived in June 2005. Wood Group executed the OSBL facilities and interconnection of the gas fractionation plant equipment for this offshore and onshore gas condensate recovery and LPG facilities expansion project.
A highly integrated--and highly complex--engineering project, Alba Phase 2B delivers 16,000 BPD of LPG, 825 MMscf/D of gas and 65,590BPD of associate condensate with a 700 MMscf/D gas re-injection capability.
