2005 was a significant year in the Group's development in Russia and this newsletter includes news of our business successes in the region including our growing Engineering & Production Facilities' presence, first wins in Kazakhstan, Wood Group Light Industrial Turbines' first contract in Russia and an update on our ESP repair facility in Western Siberia. Recently, we have undertaken project engineering and construction management for major upstream and downstream projects in the Gulf of Mexico, Nigeria, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, India, Australia and Norway. We are also a global market leader in oil & gas production support and enhancement. We are focused on broadening our service offering and Offshore Design Limited (ODL) have joined Wood Group, enhancing our range with commissioning services, pre-operations and start-up support for new developments coming onstream. Our Well Support division has developed new products and services offering greater reliability, cost savings and enhanced safety for our customers. Wood Group ESP is a global market leader in the supply and service of ESPs. Wood Group Pressure Control has maintained its strong number two position for surface wellheads and valves in the US market, is increasing its international market share, and growing its manufacturing capacity with new facilities in China. Wood Group Gas Turbine Services is the world's leading independent provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for industrial gas turbines - offering long-term, multi-scope services to a broad range of clients around the world with recent extended ability in field services, generator repair and turbine controls.
